Our box tee is cut from 100% combed ring-spun cotton at 7 oz./yd.² (237 g/m²), so it has real weight to it. It's oversized and boxy, with dropped shoulders and a ribbed collar on a reinforced neckline.
This is a catalogue page for a cassette player that never existed. In 80s Japan these players were called ヘッドホンステレオ (heddohon sutereo, "headphone stereo"), and the 5C-5V is our own.
Across the back: a red cassette player and headphones in isometric view, with numbered callouts listed under 各部の名称 (kakubu no meishō, "names of parts"). They run from 巻き戻し (makimodoshi, rewind), stop, play, fast-forward and record through to the cassette window, nameplate, volume, headphone jack and headphones. The spec table gives MODEL 5C-5V, 40–15,000 Hz frequency response and NORMAL, HIGH and METAL tape, and lists it as compatible with 五都 (goto, five cities). Along the bottom: 5C5V, 巻き戻し REWIND, MADE TO PLAY.
On the chest, a small 5C-5V wordmark. Vintage White or White. Made to order, sizes S to 4XL.

What's printed on the back? The 5C-5V catalogue page: a red cassette player and headphones drawn in isometric view, numbered part callouts in Japanese and a spec table.
What do the Japanese labels say? They name the parts, the way a real catalogue would. 早送り (hayaokuri) is fast-forward, ボリューム (boryūmu) is volume and ヘッドホン端子 (heddohon tanshi) is the headphone jack. ヘッドホンステレオ itself means headphone stereo.
Is it based on a real model? No. We made the 5C-5V up and drew it like a page from an 80s product catalogue.
How does it fit? Oversized and boxy with dropped shoulders. Take your usual size for the relaxed look, or size down for a closer fit.
How long will it be available? For as long as the REWIND collection runs. It's an open run, not a one-off, so it stays available.
When will it arrive? It's made for you after you order: 2–5 business days to make, then 2–6 business days for UK delivery.

Production takes 2–5 business days. UK delivery then typically takes 2–6 business days (£3.95, or free on orders over £100). Worldwide shipping is available, and full times and costs are on our Shipping page.
Every 5C5V piece is covered by a 2-year quality warranty: if it faults, we repair or replace it. If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange it, provided it's unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. To start a return, email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number.

Pieces you design yourself in Studio or KŌBŌ are made just for you, so they can only come back if faulty.
