How to choose a kanji hoodie

The hoodies here are made on three different garments, and that matters more for fit than the design does.

The city hoodies in black and French navy are 100% organic cotton, midweight, in a regular fit with set-in sleeves, a double-layered hood and a front pouch pocket. Each carries its city's kanji: 和 (wa, harmony) for Kyoto, 夢 (yume, dream) for Tokyo, 力 (chikara, strength) for Osaka, 信 (shin, trust) for Yokohama and 希望 (kibō, hope) for Sapporo. Sizes S to 2XL. The sizing is European: take your usual size in the UK and EU, and one size up in the US.

The Tokyo hoodies in burgundy and bottle green have an organic cotton outer, a brushed inside and raglan sleeves, and start at XS.

The Neon Dawn hoodies (Radiant Dawn, Level Up and Retro 8-Bit) and the Kyoto maroon are a cotton and polyester blend with a 100% cotton face. Sizes S to 3XL. These run small, so go one size up.

How to choose: organic cotton for natural fibre and a regular fit, the blend for the Neon Dawn designs or sizes up to 3XL. Most are described as midweight.
