Rewind — Fuu フーッ Pixel Cartridge Heavyweight Sweatshirt – Black · Navy · Forest

Our heavyweight sweatshirt is 60% cotton and 40% polyester fleece at 10 oz./yd.² (339 g/m²). It has slightly dropped sleeves and a relaxed, oversized fit.

Before you pushed a cartridge into the console, you blew into it. Nobody knew if it helped. Everybody did it anyway. フーッ (fū) is the Japanese for that sound.

The back has a teal pixel cartridge for a game that never existed, 五都クエスト (Goto Quest, "Five Cities Quest"), with Mt Fuji on the label. Three puffs of breath sit beside it, and the caption reads カセットを挿す前に、フーッ。 (kasetto o sasu mae ni, fū: "before you insert the cassette, blow"), with BLOW. INSERT. PRAY. Famicom games were called カセット (kasetto, cassette) in Japan, hence the wording. A small フーッ goes on the chest. Black, Navy or Forest. Made to order, sizes S to 3XL.

Good to know

What is on the back? A teal pixel cartridge with a Mt Fuji label and the made-up title Goto Quest, three puffs of breath, a Japanese caption and BLOW. INSERT. PRAY.

What does the Japanese mean? フーッ is fū, the sound of blowing. The caption says "before you insert the cassette, blow". 五都クエスト is Goto Quest, "Five Cities Quest".

How does it fit? Oversized and roomy. Take your usual size for the big, relaxed shape, or size down for a closer fit.

Is it a short run? No. It's part of the REWIND collection and, like the rest of it, stays available.
