One serif S in white, a heavy spine with fine hairline ends, on a soft fine-wale corduroy cap. 希 in white on the left side.

S for Sapporo, up in Hokkaido, where students at Sapporo Agricultural College were making their own bats and balls in 1877. It's a cold city, and corduroy is a cold-weather cap, so this one makes sense. One serif letter on the front, nothing else. It's part of a set of five, one letter for each city. 希 (ki) means hope, Sapporo's virtue in Five Cities, Five Virtues.
