Fading Ember is the autumn piece in our Edo four-seasons series. On the back, a lone traveller in a straw hat and kimono walks away from you as orange sparks lift off him: everything burning a little brighter before it goes out. Down the side runs 其儚き光 (sono hakanaki hikari), “that fleeting light”.

One of four seasonal designs in the Edo Collection, this tee is cut from 100% combed ring-spun cotton at a heavyweight 7 oz./yd² (237 g/m²), so it holds its shape wash after wash. The oversized fit and drop shoulders give it a true streetwear drape, and each piece is made to order to avoid overproduction.
