Our box tee is cut from 100% combed ring-spun cotton at 7 oz./yd.² (237 g/m²), so it has real weight to it. It's oversized and boxy, with dropped shoulders and a ribbed collar on a reinforced neckline.
Late at night, Japanese TV channels used to go off air. Before the screen turned to 砂嵐 (sunaarashi, "sandstorm", the Japanese word for TV static), they showed a closedown card: 本日の放送は終了しました (honjitsu no hōsō wa shūryō shimashita, "today's broadcast has ended"). This tee is for everyone who was still awake to see it.
On the back is a wood-cabinet CRT television, its colour bars breaking up into static, with the closedown caption on the screen. A green clock underneath reads 02:30, and under that: THE CHANNEL SLEPT. WE DIDN'T. On the chest there's a small 砂嵐 with a red dot. Comes in Black, Navy and Vintage Black. Made to order, sizes S to 4XL.

What does the Japanese mean? 砂嵐 (sunaarashi) means sandstorm, and it's what people in Japan call TV static. The caption on the screen means "today's broadcast has ended".
How does it fit? Oversized and boxy with dropped shoulders. Take your usual size for the relaxed look, or size down for a closer fit.

If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange it, provided it's unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. Pieces you design yourself in Studio or KŌBŌ are made just for you, so they can only come back if faulty.
