5C5V Originals (元) Japanese Beanie – Black · Navy · Spruce

The everyday 5C5V beanie. A snug cuffed rib knit in Black, Navy or Spruce green, with the full 5C5V logo stitched across the cuff in clean white thread.

The Originals line is built on the 5C5V mark itself: blocky 5C5V letters with Mt Fuji and a rising sun set into the C. 5C5V stands for Five Cities, Five Virtues (Sapporo 希 Hope, Tokyo 夢 Dream, Kyoto 和 Harmony, Osaka 力 Strength and Yokohama 信 Trust), and Fuji sits in the middle of it because on a clear day you can see it from Tokyo and Yokohama. It's stitched in a single white thread with the sun and the slopes of Fuji left as cut-outs, so the knit shows through and only the snowcap is embroidered. That's the logo exactly as it was drawn, nothing added.

• USA: 4–8 business days, $5.95 flat, free on orders over $75. Made and shipped inside the US, so no import duties
• EU: 2–6 business days, £3.95, free express on orders over £100

Covered by a 2-year warranty. Wherever you ordered from, UK, US or EU, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unworn, unwashed items in their original condition, and any defect or embroidery problem is always on us. Need a different size? That's no problem at all. To swap or return, email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you the return address and help with the rest. We just ask that you cover the return postage, unless the item is faulty or not what you ordered, in which case it's on us.
