Our long sleeve is 100% carded cotton at 8.2 oz./yd.² (278 g/m²), a proper heavyweight. It's a relaxed fit with side seams, wide ribbing at the neck and cuffs, double-needle hems, and it's preshrunk.
Old Japanese catalogues had a name for the personal cassette player: ヘッドホンステレオ (heddohon sutereo), or "headphone stereo". The 5C-5V is one we invented, laid out like a page from an 80s product catalogue.
On the back is an isometric drawing of a red cassette player with headphones. Under 各部の名称 (kakubu no meishō, "names of parts") the numbered callouts, all in Japanese, cover rewind, stop, play, fast-forward and record, then 6 the cassette window, 7 the nameplate, 8 volume, 9 the headphone jack and 10 the headphones. The spec table reads MODEL 5C-5V, 40–15,000 Hz, NORMAL, HIGH and METAL tape, and compatible with 五都 (goto, five cities). Underneath sits the footer: 5C5V, 巻き戻し (makimodoshi, rewind) REWIND, MADE TO PLAY.
The chest carries a small 5C-5V wordmark. Butter or Ecru. Made to order, sizes S to 3XL.

What's printed on the back? The 5C-5V catalogue page: the red player and headphones in isometric view, numbered part labels and the spec table.
What do the Japanese labels say? Each one names a part. 停止 (teishi) is stop, 録音 (rokuon) is record and カセット窓 (kasetto mado) is the cassette window. ヘッドホンステレオ means headphone stereo.
Is the 5C-5V real? No. It's an invented model, drawn the way an 80s catalogue would have shown it.
How does it fit? Relaxed, not oversized. Take your usual size.
Is it a short run? No. It's part of the REWIND collection and, like the rest of it, stays available.
When will it arrive? It's made for you after you order: 2–5 business days to make, then 2–6 business days for UK delivery.

Relaxed fit, side-seamed, with wide neck and cuff ribbing and double-needle hems. 100% carded cotton, 8.2 oz./yd.² (278 g/m²), preshrunk. Available in Butter and Ecru, sizes S to 3XL. Wash cold and inside out, no bleach, hang or lay flat to dry, and never iron over the print.

Production takes 2–5 business days. UK delivery then typically takes 2–6 business days (£3.95, or free on orders over £100). Worldwide shipping is available, and full times and costs are on our Shipping page.
Every 5C5V piece is covered by a 2-year quality warranty: if it faults, we repair or replace it. If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange it, provided it's unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. To start a return, email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number.

Covered by a 2-year warranty. Wherever you ordered from, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unworn, unwashed items in their original condition, and any defect or print or embroidery problem is always on us. Need a different size? That's no problem at all. Email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you the return address. We just ask that you cover the return postage. Pieces you design yourself in Studio or KŌBŌ are made just for you, so they can only come back if faulty.
