An invented 1987 portable cassette player in translucent orange: a round amber screen reading 再生中 (saisei-chū, now playing), rewind, play and fast-forward keys and a little tape window. Printed big on the back of a heavyweight box tee, with a small 再生中 mark on the left chest.
No real brand here. Just the shape everybody remembers clipped to a belt on the train.

What does 再生中 mean? 再生中 (saisei-chū) means now playing. 再生 is the play button, and it's also the word for rebirth.
How does it fit? Boxy and oversized. If you want a closer fit, go a size down.

Each piece is made to order, created for you once your order is placed. That keeps overproduction and waste down.
Production takes 2–5 business days. Delivery then takes:
- UK: 2–6 business days, £3.95, free on orders over £100
- USA: 4–8 business days, $5.95 flat per order, free on orders over $75. Made and shipped inside the US, so no import duties
- EU: 2–6 business days, £3.95, free express on orders over £100

Covered by a 2-year warranty. Wherever you ordered from, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unworn, unwashed items in their original condition, and any defect or print or embroidery problem is always on us. Need a different size? That's no problem at all. Email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you the return address. We just ask that you cover the return postage. Pieces you design yourself in Studio or KŌBŌ are made just for you, so they can only come back if faulty.
