Our box tee is cut from 100% combed ring-spun cotton at 7 oz./yd.² (237 g/m²), so it has real weight to it. It's oversized and boxy, with dropped shoulders and a ribbed collar on a reinforced neckline.
In 90s Japan, before everyone had a mobile, teenagers carried a ポケベル (pokeberu, pager). It could only show numbers, so they turned numbers into words, reading each digit as a sound. 4649 reads as よろしく (yoroshiku, nice to meet you, or take care of me): 4 is yo, 6 is ro, 4 is shi, 9 is ku.
Five more codes everyone knew: 0840 おはよう (ohayō, good morning), 724106 なにしてる (nani shiteru, what are you doing?), 14106 あいしてる (aishiteru, I love you), 0833 おやすみ (oyasumi, good night) and 3470 さよなら (sayonara, goodbye).
On the back, a grey pager's screen reads 14106. Below it sits a lined card listing all six codes, with a red heart next to 14106 and NUMBERS SAID EVERYTHING. On the chest, a small green pager screen reads 4649. Black, Navy, Vintage Black, Vintage White or White. Made to order, sizes S to 4XL.

What does the Japanese mean? ポケベル (pokeberu) means pager. The codes on the card are おはよう good morning, よろしく nice to meet you, なにしてる what are you doing, あいしてる I love you, おやすみ good night and さよなら goodbye.
What does 4649 on the chest mean? Read aloud in Japanese, the digits sound like yoroshiku: nice to meet you, or take care of me.
How does it fit? Oversized and boxy with dropped shoulders. Take your usual size for the relaxed look, or size down for a closer fit.

Production takes 2–5 business days. UK delivery then typically takes 2–6 business days (£3.95, or free on orders over £100). Worldwide shipping is available, and full times and costs are on our Shipping page.
Every 5C5V piece is covered by a 2-year quality warranty: if it faults, we repair or replace it. If it isn't right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange it, provided it's unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. To start a return, email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number.

Covered by a 2-year warranty. Wherever you ordered from, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange unworn, unwashed items in their original condition, and any defect or print or embroidery problem is always on us. Need a different size? That's no problem at all. Email matthew@5c5v.co.uk with your order number and we'll send you the return address. We just ask that you cover the return postage. Pieces you design yourself in Studio or KŌBŌ are made just for you, so they can only come back if faulty.
