Osaka Strength 力 O Corduroy Japanese Baseball Cap

One serif O in white, heavy on the sides and fine at the top and bottom, on a soft fine-wale corduroy cap. 力 in white on the left side.

O for Osaka, the loudest baseball city in Japan. Kōshien Stadium, home of the national high-school tournament, sits just down the line, and the city turns out for it every summer. One serif letter on the front, nothing else, on corduroy that wears in like an old favorite. It's part of a set of five, one letter for each city. 力 (chikara) means strength, Osaka's virtue in Five Cities, Five Virtues.
